We recently went on a family holiday from South Africa to Mauritius and could not have found a better place to stay in! 

The six of us stayed in Villa Saphir and had a divine time being able to roam the beach in-front of the house, make ourselves at home in the living areas, and have some of the best sleeps in the comfort of our rooms. 

Camille was excellent, from answering all our questions to finding the perfect date spot recommendations last minute. Maliga and Julie were also so kind and accommodating. Their generous service made us feel taken care of. 

The holiday was made complete by having the perfect place to stay. Thank you to Gems Villa and the team for making it so memorable.

Villa Saphir is located on one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, with water deep enough for proper swimming, something we appreciated every single day.

As an architect, my expectations for accommodation go far beyond comfort, cleanliness and service (all of which were absolutely perfect here). I also look closely at design, spatial quality and aesthetics. In this regard, Villa Saphir is exceptional. It is rare for me, when travelling, to feel that nothing needs to be changed, but here, everything is exactly where and how it should be. The villa is beautifully designed, harmonious, and thoughtfully executed.

A special thank-you to manager Camille for her excellent communication, and to housekeeper Maliga for her wonderful lunches and warm company.

We truly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend Villa Saphir to anyone seeking both beauty and comfort in an extraordinary setting.

The team was amazing, welcoming, responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to the maids, who were not only great at their job but also incredibly friendly and kind. The private beach was a dream and the whole experience felt like a hidden slice of paradise. We really enjoyed every moment and will definitely be coming back !

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is stunning, and we instantly felt at home.

Janine and Bernadette were incredibly helpful, friendly, and it was a pleasure chatting with them. We had a fun cooking class together, they prepared delicious meals for us, and kept the villa spotlessly clean throughout our stay.

Camille, our host, went above and beyond to make everything easy for us. She organized our entire trip, including in-villa massages, yoga sessions, and booked a private chef for a few dinners. The meal prepared by the chef was outstanding.

We had a truly memorable stay and can’t wait to come back.

Transport, food, last-minute activities : she made sure we got the best price and quality every time.
