Designed by Rodney Wright and Peter Alliss, The Links is an 18-hole, par-71 course that’s as technically rewarding as it is visually stunning. At Gems Villas, these boat trips can be arranged with the assistance of our concierge service. Departure is usually from Trou d’Eau Douce, but when conditions allow, depending on tides, boat type and weather, a departure directly from the villa may also be possible.

Most boat excursions depart from Trou d’Eau Douce. This departure point is convenient, well located and perfectly suited for trips to Île aux Cerfs as well as to the 5 islands of the south-east. From Gems Villas, a transfer can be arranged if needed to easily reach the embarkation point.

When conditions allow, some excursions may also be possible with a departure directly from the villa. This depends on the tides, the type of boat, the weather and the safety conditions on the day of the excursion.

It is a particularly pleasant option when everything comes together: guests can board from their place of stay, start the day with their feet in the sand and head directly onto the lagoon from Belle Mare. If departure from the villa is not possible, Trou d’Eau Douce remains an ideal alternative to fully enjoy the day.
